🌏 More than just a hiking trip
The Grampians — known traditionally as Gariwerd — is the land of the Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali peoples. Throughout the trip, you’ll learn about the deep cultural significance of this landscape and the stories that have shaped it for tens of thousands of years.
You’ll also discover how native plants and wildlife adapt to this unique environment — and how bushfires play an important role in renewing and reshaping the land.
💛 Why you’ll love it:
Meet other international students and make real connections
A supportive, social vibe — perfect if you’re travelling solo
A balance of adventure, learning, and downtime
Campfire chats, starry skies, and early-morning summit moments
That “I can’t believe I get to live here” feeling
This isn’t just a weekend away — it’s a chance to connect with nature, culture, and yourself.
