  • ·       We will provide you with cooking stove (Trangia’s) and fuel. This is a self-catered trip, please see our ‘Hiking food ideas’ info sheet for suggestions.

  • ·       Day 1 – 7am start to travel from Melbourne to Tidal River. Stopping along the way for last minute food shopping. We will separate into our hiking groups and head off to our first camp sites for the night.

    ·       Day 2 – Today is all about taking it all in and enjoying the experience. Groups will get to visit the lighthouse today and experience the true beauty of the Prom. Most campsites are beach fronted so there are plenty of opportunities to dip your toes in to cool off.

    ·       Day 3 – Early start today with our hike out back to Tidal River, last changes for getting those toes wet with some river crossings and then back on the bus and heading to Melbourne. Retuning by 2pm

  • ·       Hike Pack, Sleeping Bag, Sleeping Mat

    ·       Water Bottle

    ·       A waterproof shell / Gore-Tex jacket

    ·       Socks (wool is best), underwear (no underwire bras as they can dig in)

    ·       Trail shoes (Lightweight shoes with good grip)

    ·       Hiking Cloths - Shorts / light pants / leggings, Lightweight top with sleeves, Thin Fleece jumper

    ·       Camp Cloths - Warm jumper / jacket / puffer jacket, warm pants / tracksuit pants.

    ·       Camp shoes such as thongs, Crocs, Slides

    ·       Thermals

    ·       Beanie, neck warmer, gloves

    ·       Sun hat and sunglasses

    ·       Eating utensils incl knife, fork, spoon, plate/bowl, cup, tea towel

    ·       Basic toiletries, Toilet paper, Personal Medication, Sunscreen, Bug spray
